CHECK-IN

Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m. and is located at our main entrance in the large turn around on Gendy Street. DO NOT drop off groups near the Omni Theater.

Doors will not open to students, chaperones or guests until 10:00 a.m. rain or shine.

If you have reserved a timed program we suggest arriving at least 15-20 minutes prior to start time.

Be prepared to provide an accurate ‘day-of’ head count listing students and adults (including all teachers, staff, volunteers and parents) separately.

We do not guarantee any admission beyond your reserved total the day of your field trip. If you need to adjust participant numbers please contact us as soon as possible.

Payment is required the day of your visit. We accept cash, check or credit cards. We do not normally accept Purchase Orders.

If you are paying in cash please provide large bills to expedite check in. Bringing small bills will increase your check in time.

LUNCHES

There is no outside food or drink allowed inside the museum.

Lunches can be enjoyed picnic style on any of the grassy areas surrounding the exterior of the building.

We do not have any food storage space available.

Make plans to store all lunches and coolers on the bus or in approved vehicles before AND after lunch.

The parking lot allows ONE bus to exit and drop off lunches. Please load buses accordingly.

PARKING

After group drop-off buses will park in the Harley Lot located on the far south side of the museum.

Parking is $7-$10 cash per vehicle and must be paid in the parking lot

Payment of bus parking is not collected by the museum or museum personnel.

Chaperones may park anywhere in the Cultural District however fees are applicable in every lot.

There are no in-and-out privileges for parking (with the exception of lunch drop off for buses).

CHAPERONE GUIDELINES

Students of all ages MUST stay with a chaperone at all times.

Chaperones MUST stay with students of all ages at all times.

Students attempting to enter an exhibit without a chaperone present will be denied entry.

We ask that students remain on classroom behavior for their safety and the safety of our guests.

Encourage students to WALK not RUN.
